Grapes were hand-picked from Elephant Mountain Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA (57%) and Ciel du Cheval Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA (43%), gently crushed (no pressing), fermented in small lots and aged in a combination of new and mature French and American oak barrels.
